The Department of Research and Innovation, proudly hosted the 87th Research Seminar that featured students from KUHeS and exchange students from University of Melbourne-Australia under the Impact Health Innovation Series. The seminar centered on theme: “Developing Modern Diagnostics to Improve Maternal and Child Health in Malawi: Initiating with an Active Syphilis Test.
The seminar shared research findings and implementation strategies aimed at making diagnostics more accessible, affordable, and accurate for frontline health workers. The presentation also sparked a rich discussion around integration into Malawi’s healthcare system, potential policy impact and the role of youth-driven innovation in addressing critical health challenges.
