The Clinical Trials Unit (CTU) ensures quality and high standards in clinical studies by providing Clinical Study Monitoring services in Malawi, Southern African countries, and beyond. Additionally, the unit offers Good Clinical Practice training, and archiving of Essential Clinical Trial documents according to the International Conference on Harmonization Good Clinical Practice (ICH GCP) guidelines and Kamuzu University of Health Sciences Research Ethics Committee (KUREC) guidelines. Furthermore, the CTU provides Clinical Trial Pharmacy Monitoring services in partnership with the Department of Pharmacy at KUHeS.
